Add to Cart„Asachimici“ is an Italian company based in Vescovato (province of Cremona) that makes cleaners and descalers for espresso machines, milk systems and coffee grinders under the „Puly Caff“ brand; it created its first „Puly Caff®“ cleaner in 1961. Superautomatic coffee machine cleaning tablets „Puly Caff Plus®“ Pastiglie, 100 × 1 g
„Puly Caff Plus®“ Pastiglie — superautomatic coffee machine cleaning tablets
For daily cleaning of the brewing unit of superautomatic coffee machines. Tub of 100 tablets, 1 g each (Ø 10 × 10 mm).
„Puly Caff Plus®“ Pastiglie are cleaning tablets made in Italy by „Asachimici“ for superautomatic (bean-to-cup) espresso machines. They remove coffee residues and grease deposits from the brewing unit, the solenoid valve and the water passages, and stop unpleasant odours from forming. The manufacturer points out that superautomatic machines prepare a range of coffee drinks on their own but have an intricate mechanism, so they need daily cleaning to keep performing well: coffee oils turn rancid within 12–18 hours, bake on and give the drink a bitter taste.
They have been tested and certified by NSF International under Protocol P152, which assesses commercial espresso machine cleaners for health effects and corrosivity; NSF lists them among certified products as „Puly Caff Tablet“. According to the manufacturer, the tablets comply with HACCP requirements and their raw materials are recognised by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). They have the same ingredients as „Puly Caff Plus®“ Powder (the two share a safety data sheet), except that polyethylene glycol is added as a binder and there is no colourant. The label adds that the tablets inhibit scale build-up. For professional use.
The coffee machine manufacturer specifies which tablet size to use. We sell „Puly Caff Plus®“ tablets in 0.5 g (Ø 10 × 5 mm), 1 g (Ø 10 × 10 mm) and 2.5 g (Ø 16 × 10 mm), so check your machine’s instructions before buying.
