„Asachimici“ is an Italian company based in Vescovato (province of Cremona) that makes cleaners and descalers for espresso machines, milk systems and coffee grinders under the „Puly Caff“ brand; it created its first „Puly Caff®“ cleaner in 1961. Its quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (certificates valid until December 2026). Only some of its cleaners are certified by NSF International under Protocol P152; where this is the case, the product description says so.

For daily cleaning of the brew basket and server of filter coffee brewers. Tub of 100 tablets, 1 g each (Ø 10 × 10 mm).
„Puly Caff Plus®“ Brew-Tabs™ are cleaning tablets made in Italy by „Asachimici“ for filter coffee brewers and their servers. Filter coffee is increasingly popular in cafés and bars, and it leaves an oily coffee film in the brew basket and the server. According to the manufacturer, the heat makes this film oxidise quickly, turn rancid and bake on, giving the coffee an unpleasant, lingering taste, so it has to be removed promptly — within 12–18 hours.
They have been tested and certified by NSF International under Protocol P152, which assesses commercial espresso machine cleaners for health effects and corrosivity; NSF lists them among certified products as „Puly Caff Brew Tabs“. According to the manufacturer, the tablets comply with HACCP requirements and their raw materials are recognised by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The label states that they contain 5–15 % sodium percarbonate and inhibit scale build-up. For professional use.
How to use
- Put 1 tablet per half litre of server capacity into the brew basket, without a paper filter (for example, 4 tablets for a 2 L server).
- Start the brew cycle — the water runs through the basket into the server.
- Wait 3 minutes for the solution to work, then pour it away and remove any residue.
- Rinse the brew basket and the server under cold running water.

Clean every day. With a 2 L server, one tub lasts for 25 cleanings.
Warning: causes serious eye irritation (H319). Wear protective gloves and eye or face protection. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes; remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do, and continue rinsing. If medical advice is needed, have the product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Close the pack tightly after use and store it in a dry, cool, ventilated place at no more than 40 °C, away from heat sources, sunlight, acids and alkalis.
