This lava rock grill suits any professional kitchen, from a steakhouse to a restaurant: you cook meat, fish and vegetables on a grid over hot lava rock.
Two gas burners, 17.5 kW in total, heat the lava rock beneath the 695 × 535 mm cooking grid.
Meat, fish and vegetables cook evenly across the whole grid, because the hot lava rock radiates its heat uniformly. The grill heats up in a few minutes, so you start cooking quickly.
The rock stores heat and releases it steadily, so you use less gas. Unlike charcoal, lava rock does not burn away or leave ash.
The universal cooking grid supplied with the grill handles meat, fish and vegetables alike.
Fat collects in a pull-out drawer, and you clean the grid with the double-sided grill brush and scraper supplied.
Each burner has its own knob on the front panel, so you set different heat levels on the left and right halves of the grid — for example, meat on one side and vegetables on the other. Levers on both sides raise and lower the cooking grid: the closer it is to the rock, the fiercer the heat. You light the burners with piezo ignition buttons. Each burner’s gas tap has a safety thermocouple that cuts off the gas to that burner if its flame goes out.
The grill sits on an open cabinet with height-adjustable feet, so it stands directly on the floor and you level it with the feet. A pair of front doors (14080325) and a rear panel (01020118) for the cabinet are available separately.
The I-80 MOB/P has two separately controlled burners and a 695 × 535 mm grid. If one burner and a 550 × 535 mm grid are enough, choose the I-65 MOB. The countertop version is the I-80/P.

At full power, the grill uses 1.85 m³ of natural gas G20 (2.15 m³ G25) or 1.38 kg of LPG G30 per hour. Replacement lava rock comes in 9 kg bags: „CB“ lava rock, 9 kg bag (05050501).
The grill comes with a universal cooking grid, lava rock, a double-sided grill brush, a spatula and a scraper for the universal grid. Optional grids: meat grid (14080031), fish grid (14080032), mixed meat and fish grid (14080033) and universal grid with a fish section (14080070).
