„Ascaso“ group head shower holder, from 2015 (I.2698)
This is an original „Ascaso“ I.2698 group head shower holder — the brass disc fitted in the group bell that „Ascaso“ introduced for its home espresso machines in 2015. The flat shower screen screws onto the centre of the disc, and water from the thermoblock flows through the holes in the holder, spreads over the whole screen and reaches the coffee evenly.
The holder fits „Ascaso“ Dream ZERO, Arc Inox and Basic Versatile machines, as well as earlier Dream, Arc and Basic machines made from April 2015. You will find all machine and group head codes listed by „Ascaso“ in the ‘Fits models’ tab. Porta Fijo (PF) versions, Dream ONE and Dream PID (from July 2017) have a different group head, so this holder does not fit them.
The holder is fixed to the group bell with three I..358 M4 screws, and the I..278 shower screen screws onto the holder with the central I..304 screw. When you replace the holder, you can fit a new screen and screws at the same time — they are sold separately.
