This tabletop mincer handles up to 10 kg of meat an hour, plugs into a standard 230 V socket and takes up little space.
The FW10 has a 0.85 kW motor with two speeds: normal and a slower one for softer food. It takes Ø 62 mm plates, and the feed opening is Ø 45.5 mm.
It comes with three plates (3, 4.8 and 8 mm), a four-blade stainless steel knife, a sausage-filling horn, a shortbread cookie attachment and a kebbe attachment.
„Bartscher“ designs the FW10 for restaurants and hotels that mince meat now and then and prefer a compact tabletop machine. It minces and mixes meat and vegetables, fills sausages, shapes shortbread cookies and makes kebbe.
At the maximum output the manufacturer quotes (10 kg/h), 1 kg of meat is minced in about 6 minutes (our calculation). The FW10 is designed for mincing in batches: each batch takes 2–3 minutes, and the mincer is switched off between batches.
The control panel has three buttons: start/stop, slow speed and reverse. Reverse turns the screw backwards for a moment to free pieces that have got stuck; you press it once the motor has stopped.
Overheating protection switches the motor off if it gets too hot; once the mincer has cooled, pressing the reset button on its underside makes it ready to run again.
The head, screw, knife and plates come off, so every part that touches the food is easy to wash. The head is made of stainless steel and cast aluminium; the housing is plastic.
The plates are stored in a compartment at the back of the mincer, and the sausage horn and kebbe attachment fit inside the hollow pusher.
